Experienced Project Manager

Sodigital, a game development studio based in Cracow, is looking for an experienced Project Manager in their newest production.

Are you an experienced and analytical manager of software projects - who’s ready to help a talented games development team organise and deal with shifting parameters efficiently? You will need to be energetic, a good communicator and use online PM and reporting tools fluently. You will also be responsible for making the organisation of the project transparently understandable to the client (based in the UK). A capable self-manager, you will be briefed by the company’s Managing Director. Ultimately, you are someone determined to make a difference - who likes to use all their knowledge and ingenuity to achieve this.

A suitable job candidate would be capable of:

• Being responsible for providing support and guidance to the team, such that it enables efficient, on-time delivery of game products.
• Creating and keeping up to date a project schedule, milestone delivery budget, risk analysis/mitigation and contingency planning.
• Rolling-out contingency plans if and when needed.
• Reporting project status and management information to the companies clients, in English.

The core task is to create an efficient scheduling and risk mitigation procedure - in collaboration with the existing junior PM - and then manage this process within the team throughout the rest of the project. The implemented PM process would make regular, accurate project reporting easy - delivered direct to the company’s clients, based in the UK.

Experience:

• Has project management experience of 3 or more major software projects, some games experience would be beneficial also.
• Can demonstrate their track record of successful project deliveries and the methods and strategies used.
• Software skills: Hansoft, MS Project, Wrike or similar PM tools. Familiar with both agile and traditional methodologies.
• Bi-lingual: Polish and English. Team works in both languages, reporting and project management materials all to be created in English.
