GOG.com was created in 2008 by passionate gamers who dreamt to be able to play their favorite classic games, at a fair price and DRM-free, just like in the good old days. It appeared that this dream was shared by thousands of gamers all over the world, and 6 years later, GOG.com is proud to have millions of members in their community and 220+ partners including Activision, Disney, EA, Ubisoft and Square Enix among others.

We are looking for a well organized Marketing Manager who is a true gamer at heart and one that delivers goals, to manage the content on GOG.com’s main page, lead key marketing projects, promote games, and improve our e-commerce to ultimately make GOG.com even more awesome, together with the whole team!

As a key player in the Marketing team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the releases pipeline for new games and making sure they get the proper visibility on GOG.com channels and beyond.
  • Creating and executing outstanding promotional activities for our key releases in cooperation with other Marketing team members.
  • Working hand-in-hand with our key partners including developers, publishers and external agencies.
  • Planning GOG.com’s main page content and making sure it is delivered accordingly, as well as maximising profits on the basis of hard data (i.e. Google Analytics) and your vast knowledge of games.
  • Optimizing and managing processes related to direct communication with GOG.com users including newsletters, notifications etc.
  • Making sure our e-commerce continues to successfully drive revenue, but most importantly that it keeps the customer experience up to the highest standards.

We expect you to:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an independent role within e-commerce and online marketing, preferably in the digital distribution industry.
  • Be a passionate gamer with extensive knowledge about the titles available on GOG.com and generally about the gaming culture.
  • Be able to analyze hard data (website traffic, conversions, sales data etc.), deliver in-depth insights, draw actionable conclusions, and conduct marketing actions according to your analysis.
  • Understand marketing and acquisition metrics like CPA, CPL, LTV, Funnel, Churn and the like.
  • Be able to easily communicate and write in English.
  • Have strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills but at the same time have an open-mind bursting with creativity.
  • Be proactive, bring new ideas, always strive to do things better and at the same time keep everything well organized.
  • Have a black belt in communication skills and be at the master level in compromising between all parties involved in a particular project.
  • Work effectively under time pressure and not let it get to you.
