Lead Game Developer

Playsoft was founded in 2004 by 2 enthusiasts of games and new technologies. We have studios located in Paris and Gdańsk with over 100 passionate people. We work on games for top-tier clients (Electronic Arts, Square Enix, Turner, Gumi) and on our own IP. Our mission is to create great, unique and mind blowing games. Mission:

• Lead the programming efforts in a small team environment
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and producers to write robust and flexible systems
• Creation of technical documentation
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in accordance with design and technical documentation
• Help to guide architecture and framework decisions with an informed technical strategy
• Check team developers code and give them advice when needed
• Debugging and code optimizations
• Proposing own solutions to increase productivity of the platform and to simplify the architecture

Required skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
• Minimum 2 years of experience in creating games/apps with C++
• Experience in creating project documentation
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet team deadlines
• Good English skills
• Experience with Marmalade framework as a plus
• Knowledge of Unity3D will be an additional advantage
