Game Designer

Playsoft was founded in 2004 by 2 enthusiasts of games and new technologies. We have studios located in Paris and Gdańsk with over 100 passionate people. We work on games for top-tier clients (Electronic Arts, Square Enix, Turner, Gumi) and on our own IP. Our mission is to create great, unique and mind blowing games. We don’t only make fun – we have lots of fun too by doing what we really enjoy!

Your Quest:

• Inventing and designing games
• Creating (in English) specification for developers and designers (DesignDocs,StoryBoards)
• Setting parameters of a game to make it funny and difficult (tweaking / balancing)
• Regular contact with developers and graphic designers

These skills are needed to accomplish your tasks:

• A minimum 2 years of experience in a game company on Game Designer or Level Designer position
• Experience in a game with a monetization system (in-app purchase), that has been published will be a plus
• You are a game lover. You play and you know what like other players
• You know the latest trends in games: - on mobile devices (Apple & Android store) - the overall PC market, Sony / Nintendo / Microsoft stores - Casual and for Gamers - on Facebook (Zynga, Playfish)
• Your English knowledge, both orally and writing, is good enough to have free conversation and creating documentation of the game design
• You are proactive, do not wait for a task and you and know where to find the new ones
