UI Designer / Technical Artist

Yggdrasil Gaming specialises in lottery, instant Lotto products, Slot, Keno games, Mobile and online Scratch games as well as pooled progressive Jackpots. Most recently we provided well established gaming operators with our range of 23 games products and our expanding roadmap of new offerings. Our team made of iGaming skilled and experienced people is expanding very fast and we are now recruiting to join our office in Malta and Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Providing usable, modern and responsive UI designs for mobile and web games
• Reskinning the existing UI to fit new Yggdrasil games
• Bridging the gap between artists and game developers
• Exporting and optimizing assets for slots symbols, character animations, backgrounds and UI elements
• Improving company's game asset production process

Key Skills:

• Great design skills and knowledge about user behavior
• Good understanding of designer-developer workflow
• Delivering 2D assets using Photoshop (automation tools, slicing skills)
• Advanced knowledge about image optimization and file formats
• Basic experience with at least one animation tool (Flash, Spine, ...)

Nice to have:

• Ability to create hand-painted custom UI elements in Photoshop
• Knowledge of wireframing software to create usability mockups and flow charts
• Experience in working with other people's source files
