DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL

  • Assisting with the design of interfaces between server services and the game client.
  • Validating and connecting networking interfaces from a client side perspective.
  • Ensuring that the pipeline between server and client are properly optimized from a performance standpoint.
  • Debugging of gameplay systems in an online setting.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in C# and OO programming.
  • Basic knowledge of multiplayer game architecture.
  • Computer Science/Software Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, NAT and network issues.
  • Experience in game development with Unity.
  • Familiarity with existing Unity networking solutions.
  • Experience with cross-platform matchmaking solutions.
  • At least one shipped multi-platform, multiplayer title.
