If you love developing new games and educational products for kids, you will love working with us.

We are the largest kids digital studio in the UK and we need your creative and technical talent to help us design and build apps and worlds for blue chip brands like Mattel, Cartoon Network, the BBC, Nickelodeon and Discovery Kids. Some of our products are pure entertainment, some of them are created to educate and change kids’ lives. Whichever project you work on, you’ll be backed up by Dubit’s years of experience in the sector, and a desire to see you grow in your role.

Dubit has clients and offices around the world, and a 60-strong team in Leeds, and we have several positions available for experienced Javascript Developers.

Working remotely initially, the successful candidate will work closely with the development teams in Leeds, UK and other remote developers in Warsaw. Ultimately, the company will work out of office space in Warsaw.

As a Javascript Developer you will join an experienced team that works on numerous exciting projects. We are looking for good programmers regardless of the languages they know today: technologies change all the time, but it would be beneficial if you had experience in one or more of the following areas.

Javascript
HTML5 / CSS3
Modern JS technologies and frameworks (Node, ES6/Babel, Express, SocketIO, Sails, Angular, Easel, React, Grunt, Webpack, etc)
Any experience in native app development would be beneficial.
Any knowledge of ReactJS or React Native would be a bonus.
I would expect a successful developer to have at least a year of commercial experience, but preferably 3 or more, and to have released a number of apps / games in their own right.

Additional skills to become our Javascript developer:

You can demonstrate a good understanding of Object Orientated programming, Functional programming and design techniques
You can communicate unique and inspired ideas.
You show a ‘can do’ attitude and relish new, technical and creative challenges.
You are passionate about good programming techniques.
Applicants must be able to prove they are eligible to work in the UK and because we work with Children you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check as part of the employment process.

We have a coding challenge that we would like applicants to take, it should take no longer than an hour or two. We provide feedback on every test submitted and it shouldn't take you longer than an hour or two.

Salary (B2B contract preferred):
6000 PLN to 8000 PLN depending on experience
