UI/UX Mobile Games Artist

Our casual games team in Krakow is seeking a highly skilled UI artist/designer to join their team and take charge of designing the user interface for our current and upcoming games. The responsibilities will include:

• Craft and maintain the UI Art style of the game
• Develop wireframes and prototypes, craft the final screens and UI Art, followed by their integration and animation within Unity.
• Quickly iterate to find new UI solutions that better serve the players’ needs.

It’s a full-time position located in our office in Cracow, Poland.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers;
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps;
• Design graphic user interfaces elements, like menus, screens, and widgets;
• Build app navigation buttons;
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the app function and look;
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables);
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders;
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness);
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback;
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

Job requirements

• Great knowledge of Interaction Design, Interface Design, and Graphic Design principles for mobile games; -Proficiency with 2D tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and the Creative Suite;
• Proficiency with UI prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or relevant;
• Knowing how to use Unity (like UI parts, prefabs, etc.) is a big plus;
• Expertise in creating UI animation;
• Interest in Game Design;
• Understanding of the free-to-play gaming market and KPIs, with a data-driven approach when it comes to decision-making;
• Deep collaboration mindset, including excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive mindset toward receiving, acting on, and giving feedback;
• Accountability, independence, and responsibility when given ownership over your work;
• Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies (welcome);
• Knowledge of the mobile f2P games industry (welcome);
