Senior System Programmer UE5 @ VR Factory Games S.A.

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Programmer UE5 to direct the core technical approach for a main internal project at VR Factory. They will be responsible for delivering core features, collaborating and iterating between programmers, designers, and artists. They will play a critical role in driving future core systems within our games.

What you’ll do:

• Distill high-level feature requests into meaningful, actionable work items, and help to delegate to the team effectively
• Deliver core system features in an efficient and timely manner, and speak up if a feature is over or under-scoped
• Drive the vision for different systems and features, and propose/review architecture, systems, and technical approaches to ensure that they satisfy both the surface-level and deeper, engineering-specific requirements
• Mentor and coach a team of system engineers, and be the key point of communication and information for other disciplines
• Champion coding best practices and help deliver these across the team

What you’ll bring:

• Experience developing games professionally, and shipping high quality premium Indie games - if you have experience with AA+ or AAA titles that’s wonderful ;)
• Experience working within a team of system engineers to achieve key deliverables on time.
• Strong analytical abilities with creative problem-solving skills, excelling in thinking innovatively and finding unique solutions
• Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect core systems and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5

Desired Experience:

• Shipped a VR title across multiple platforms
• Interest in VR games, market and latest gameplay innovations

Workplace:

Preferably located in Warsaw in a nearly 150 square meter office with access to a gym and recreation room

Remuneration:

15-20,000 zl (adequate to competence), plus participation in our incentive program based on the revenues from our games.
