It’s not about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Sounds familiar? While it perfectly describes the ‘real life’ of each Brand Manager, it’s a quote from Rocky Balboa. If the name does ring a bell – it’s already some sort of success 🙂 TL;DR we are looking for a Brand Manager to join our Untold Tales gang and to help us publish games from our portfolio.

Untold Tales in a nutshell? Nearly four years on the market (though it’s been quite challenging recently) with both notable and smaller successes. Yet, we are always looking forward. With over 30 games in the portfolio and 20 team members worldwide, our mission remains constant – bringing fun to life through captivating stories hidden within video games.

We’re intentionally not listing X years of experience or a specific professional profile. In the past you might have been in different roles: marketing project manager, Brand Manager, comms manager – whatever. Marketing is a damn broad field of expertise. Just show us anything that you’ve done in the past that makes you proud. If you’re someone who shows passion, commitment, transparency, honesty, a hint of black humor – we’re on the right track.

Your main storyline includes quests like:

  • Taking care and management of selected IPs from Untold Tales portfolio.
  • Development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Analyzing marketing activities and conducting essential research.
  • Briefing, cooperation and coordination of the work of external partners (agencies, freelancers, etc.).
  • Management of the allocated marketing budget in cooperation with the Head of Marketing & Marketing Producer.
  • Concept creation and coordination of advertising campaigns for IPs in UT’s portfolio.
  • Cooperation with the marketing team, other departments of UT, our developers and 1st Parties.
  • Creation of the necessary reports and documentation.

Some of the optional side quests:

  • Playing and providing feedback to our games in development and in evaluation.
  • Participation in events (online/offline).
  • Everything not listed above that you will find attractive to do in the marketing area.
  • Contributing to team decisions, brainstorms, and social meetings.
  • Being the voice (and face – if you like) of our publishing label to players.

What we expect from our Brand Manager:

  • Proven experience in marketing/brand management (video games/entertainment industry preferable)
  • Excellent understanding of marketing strategies, especially digital ones.
  • Creative and strategic thinking.
  • Good organization and time management ability.
  • Being a gamer passionate about video games.
  • Having a strong command of English both written and spoken (Polish is not required – we’ll even teach you all the good swears words to make you feel included).

This is a full-time role based in Poland – onsite (Wroclaw) or remote as options.
