Business Manager

NOLABEL is seeking a talented Business Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming pitches, bidding for new projects, nurturing client relationships, exploring new business opportunities, and maintaining our company's presence. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on incoming scripts and pitches, develop competitive bids, and convert them into jobs
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, build and maintain strong relationships to foster long-term partnerships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Proactively seek out new business opportunities and partnerships, generating new leads, and cultivate relationships with potential clients to expand the studio’s reach
• Maintain a well-organised Client Relationship Management database
• Collaborate with the finance department on financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company objectives and drive growth
• Oversee the studio’s presence on social media, develop strategies to increase visibility, engagement, and brand awareness to reach new clients
• Execute marketing initiatives and company presence at events around the world
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in business development, client management, and project bidding, preferably in the post-production, film, or entertainment industry
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Knowledge of post-production and the film industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Reliable, independent, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude
• Highly organised, punctual with a strategic mindset
• Database, spreadsheet, and word processing experience
• Fluency in English is essential

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Creative thinking
• Knowledge of post-production technologies
• Experience in marketing and social media platforms
• Understanding of the overall project workflow
• Experience in financial analysis and budget management
• Knowledge of government incentives, tax credits, or grants related to the film industry
