A localization engineer’s job is to support the localization team and facilitate the localization process technology-wise. We are looking for technically skilled individuals who desire to troubleshoot and create solutions for technical localization issues, including translation asset management, script development, exploring GenAI tools, and advising on technical aspects of localization.

What will you be doing?

• Cooperating with the localization team, product teams, and external vendors;
• Implementing technical improvements in the localization workflow;
• Exploring and developing Gen AI-based tools and solutions to streamline localization;
• Maintaining translation and localization resources (TMs, termbases);
• Troubleshooting localization engineering issues;
• Ensuring the highest quality of localization by following and implementing best practices.

What are we looking for?

• Excellent knowledge of Polish and English (C2) or very good knowledge of English (C1) and excellent knowledge of another foreign language (C2/native);
• At least one year of experience in coding (Python and JavaScript/Google Apps Script) and API programming;
• Some experience with machine translation technology, LLMs, prompt engineering, and GenAI solutions;
• Loving to experiment, troubleshoot, solve problems, and explore new technology;
• Being a quick learner, a team player, and having excellent communication skills – because localization is a team effort;
• Ability to work in our Wrocław office (hybrid mode).

Amaze us with:

• Fluency in more than one foreign language; any additional languages are a plus;
• Knowledge of localization and computer-assisted translation tools (CAT) or translation management systems (TMS);
• Knowledge of LLM-related programming techniques and frameworks (embeddings, vector stores, RAGs);
• Basic understanding of agile development methodologies;
• Experience in game localization;
• Being a gamer.
