THE VISION

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an experienced Lead Programmer to join our outstanding team. The person in this position will be responsible for building the team of Gameplay Programmers as well for overseeing all programming tasks in projects developed in Cracow. CD PROJEKT RED combines work in a dynamic and highly creative environment with the possibility to directly influence development of critically acclaimed AAA video games. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL

Leading part:

• Building the team of gameplay programmers.
• Mentoring junior and specialist programmers when it comes to tasks and solutions.
• Coordinating tasks for programmers team (gameplay and engine in Cracow).
• Coordinating communication between Cracow and Warsaw when it comes to gameplay system implementation.

Programmers part:
*Prototyping and coding gameplay features
*Taking a part in the design process of gameplay.
*Creating a base gameplay system and tools for the gameplay designers to extend.
*Ensuring that game scripts are well designed, and are optimal in terms of CPU and memory consumption.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years’ experience in games industry.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Code Lead position on a AAA production.
• Very good knowledge of C++.
• Familiarity with the Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with at least one game engine architecture and algorithms.
• Fluent English is essential.
