French Linguistic Video Games Tester

QLOC S.A., the world leader in the branch of video game localization, porting and quality assurance, is currently looking for native speakers of French to hire as:

FRENCH LINGUISTIC VIDEO GAME TESTER

Co-workers on this position will be responsible for:

• Evaluating the linguistic quality of French versions of PC and console video games,
• Creating defect reports,
• Proposing solutions for linguistic defects.

Expected skills:

• Good level of English language proficiency,
• Experience with computer and/or console games,
• Perfect fluency in French, including grammar, spelling and style,
• Communicative skills – the ability to describe problems clearly and briefly,
• Ability to work in a group,
• Ability to work under time pressure,
• MS Office suite familiarization,
• The candidate must be over 18 years old.

Bonus advantages:

• Linguistic studies or studies in humanities,
• Computer entertainment discernment,
• Experience with hardware and products for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Android, iOS,
• Experience on a similar position.
