3D Animator, AAA Gra

Sperasoft is looking for a full-time animator to join our world class animation team.
The Animator will be responsible for producing game ready animations from existing motion capture data. In addition the animator will author unique animation from scratch while maintaining existing style and feel of the game.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain animations for real time game assets
• Augment motion capture data to create dynamic animations that flow and improve the game play experience
• Develop, maintain, and evolve the animation pipeline
• Full Implementation of a character into a well-established pipeline
• Work with design team to create high impact, modular animations

Requirements:

• Exceptional skill in animating the human bipedal figure, as well as other organic forms
• Experience working with Unreal 3 editor – AnimSet, AnimTree, Notifiers, UnrealMatinee
• Expert Knowledge in 3DSMax, Maya (Rigging, Scripting, Modeling)
• Experience working with Motion Builder (Story, Constraints, Retargeting)
• A thorough understanding of animation pipelines and the processes involved from the conceptual phase to implementation

Would be a plus:

• Love of fighting games
• Experience in cinematic pipeline
• A passion for making video games
• An exceptional individual who combines animation mastery with technical skill and broad game experience to produce amazing content
