IT Manager

UNIT9 is searching for IT Manager to join our team in Poland, Łódź.

Working with staff spread globally, which means that you’ll get to help people from all over the world with access to our systems, devices and projects. You’ll need to be flexible with workloads and able to work under pressure with interruptions and challenging deadlines, that great ability to multitask and prioritise. We’re at the forefront of new technologies, so one day may involve Virtual Reality, the next cable management!

Skills:

Knowledge of Google Apps & other cloud based platforms (Bitbucket, JIRA, etc)
User management
Administrative tasks, troubleshooting
Working with users and user-level equipment
Technical support for end users, computers, printers
Assist with end user system updates and monitoring.
Patch management, spyware removal and testing, virus checking, ensuring backup of data files
Knowledge of mobile devices
Working with network and server equipment
Network management
Render farms and solid post production understanding for the technical side

Role:

Work independently and assist with multiple projects, priorities and locations
Research new technologies that might be beneficial to other co-workers’ everyday duties
Maintain all technical office equipment; computers, printers, scanners, render farm, telephones, company mobiles, etc
Studio planning and organising alongside our Studio Manager: seating plans, cabling, desk phones, etc.
Technical documentation of systems, networks, and processes
Willingness to perform other duties as needed
Must show aptitude and desire to learn new skills on the job
Work as a team member and to promote a positive work environment
Planning, developing and implementing the ICT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness, budgeting and reporting, company asset tracking, reconciling credit cards for your department
Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software issues
Basic understanding of system admin skills and be able to support the overseas sys admin’s with any tasks they may need help with
