Techland Warsaw is a game development studio founded in 2003. We develop video games for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The team of industry veterans co-developed such best-selling games as Dead Island, Dying Light and Dying Light: The Following. We are the sole creators of Xpand Rally Xtreme and Dead Island Riptide, which were both released worldwide. Currently, we're developing a new action-fantasy open world IP and searching
Lead Designer
based in: Warsaw

Responsibilities:

• Creating and implementing high level vision of new IP (ActionRPG AAA title)
• Driving the game vision from very early stage of pre-production
• Inspiring development team with creative design and leadership
• Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams involved in production process, giving and receiving feedback to all elements of the game
• Developing all major game systems
• Leading the team of designers
• Being involved in cooperation with stakeholders
• Creating all necessary documentation

Requirements:

• 8+ years of exeperience in video games industry,
• At least 2 AAA products shipped as Lead Designer from concept to box
• Open and creative mind, backed by the experience with Fantasy/FPP/RPG games for current generation of platforms
• Narrative skills
• Passion and wide interest towards game development industry
• Good organization of own work, self-reliance and goal orientation for making the highest quality games
• Superb written and verbal communication skills in English (Polish would be a plus)
• Team-work oriented with leadership skills and ability to coach others
