Animator

Yggdrasil Gaming is moving to a brand new office in Browar Lubicz, Krakow and we are looking for a 2D Animator to help us continue our quest to make the best casino games out there. With a heap of awards, incredible growth and an awesome atmosphere driven by creativity and innovation, we are well on the way!

You will be part of a kick-ass, cross-functional team, built of top notch Illustrators, Animators, Designers and Concept Artists. The amount of talent we have on board in our other studios is unrivaled; we only hire the best artists in the entire iGaming industry and we are super-excited to give Stockholm the chance to be a part of it.

Key skills

Exceptional animation skills
Ability to convey character’s personality through motion
Expert After Effects user (familiar with advanced features like scripting, particle effects and external plugins)
Advanced Photoshop user (familiar with features like Smart Objects, complex masking etc.)
Experience in teamwork (working with other people’s source files, naming conventions)
Open minded and with a strong desire to learn new skills
Nice to have

Experience in the games industry (iGaming or Social Casino would be perfect)
Technical art knowledge (image sequence optimization, asset export, working with spritesheets)
Experience with 3D animation software
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Objectives

Work with the Illustrators and Art Director to create animations for characters and objects
Export and optimize animations to create game-ready assets
Use the source files prepared by Illustrators
Closely cooperate with other team members: Developers, Testers and Game Producer
Actively participate in the Game Development process to create the best games on the market
Share and spread knowledge among your team members
