C++ Programmer

Zafran Technologies, a part of Zafran Group, specializing in delivering high-skilled IT and telecom engineers is currently looking for:

C++ PROGRAMMER
Location of work: Warsaw

Our client is a recognizable game-dev company, working out global titles for platforms like PC, Mac, Xbox360, PS3 and Wii/Wii U. It provides porting and quality assurance processes as well as localization services. Hiring nearly 300 people in modern office, company provides comfortable conditions for creative and high-quality team-work.

Essential Functions:
• Developing one of the product in current projects
• Responsibility for programming one or more gaming areas: AI, graphics, physics, networking, tools
• Solving issues during development process
• Working under given deadlines.

Qualifications:
• Primary languages: C, C++/C# & Perl (optional, required for tools programmers only)
• Additional languages: SQL (required), PHP (optional)
• Knowledge of middleware layer: WinSock, STL, Boost, DirectX (for graphics programmers), DevExpress (C#, for tools programmers only), other libraries like ogg/theora, zlip, pnglib, etc.
• Knowledge of compilers: MSVC 2010, GCC (for Linux tools)
• Experience with parallel, multithread and concurrent executions
• Practice with memory and CPU optimization for high loaded applications (console game development experience will be very useful);

• MySQL Database design and optimization;
• Defensive programming experience, remote debug with logs only, 24/7 stable application execution; • Good team-working skills.
