Currently we are looking for candidates interested in position of:

Junior Test Engineer
Location: Warsaw

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test cases and scripts.
• Perform exploratory testing beyond pre-existing test cases.
• Write clear and concise bug reports.
• Enter and query defects in defect tracking database at project level.
• Query database for duplicates, verifications of fixes, assigned bugs, etc.
• Provide assistance to project team members.
• Support development of test documentation, including strategies, plans, summaries, test cases and test scripts.
• Proactively provide status reports to test lead or client on a daily basis.
• May ensure project team is billing to bid as required.
• May provide project team supervision and manage project workflow to preset deadlines.
• May have direct contact with Client
• May lead projects as required.
• May provide feedback on performance to manager.
• May travel to client site on occasion.

Qualifications

• Position requires experience in similar area or at least Bachelor's degree in the field of information technology (and related)
• Fluent communication in English
• Ability to perform structured testing.
• Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
• Must be familiar with basic email and internet communications.
• Must possess solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies and solid understanding of the Software Development Cycle.
• Must possess technical understanding of at least two operating systems and familiarity in one or more programming languages.
• Possess the ability to evaluate new software products/applications and an understanding of enterprise technical issues, e.g. networking, database, Internet, etc.
• Must be resourceful, confident and take initiative. Should possess basic leadership skills.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused on a project.
• Should proactively mentor/provide assistance or direction to others.
• Should demonstrate initiative and follow through on projects and on development of skills.
