UI/UX Designer

Mindpower is a company operating on the Polish and international markets, providing services in the use of new media and technology in business and entertainment. We are now starting new projects within AR/VR and are looking for several resources in this area.

Responsibilities

• Establish the look of the user interface
• Produce wireframes, test design assumptions and interaction plans.
• Ensure that the end-user has a seamless, simple and intuitive experience
• Create interfaces that look great and are as user-friendly as possible
• Create mockups and final art for the UI interfaces
• Work closely with the developers to ensure that the UI vision is implemented correctly

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual creativity and solid UI design
• 2+ years of experience working in visual media with a focus on user interface
• Formal education in Graphic Design, Interaction /UX Design
• Experience in developing UI for shipped games or mobile software products
• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other 2D illustration programs
• Must be concept-driven and able to come up with multiple solid ideas, pitch them, absorb feedback, iterate, and then see them through production

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Unity 3D knowledge or equivalent game engines
• Proficient in one of the major 3D packages (3DS Max, Maya, or other)
• Previous work experience dealing with UX
• Mobile app development experience
• VR experience as a creator or user
