Linux System Administrator

We’re Playsoft, a mobile game development company of 40 based in Gdansk, Poland. We’ve been around for 12 years working exclusively in mobile games, developing our own IPs and working with top publishers like EA, Square Enix, Scopely, Nickelodeon, Konami and many more.

We are looking for a LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (part-time)

Responsibilities:

 Developing and implementing Electronic Data Processing (EDP) procedures
 Managing periodic data backup
 Analysis and fixing of crashes to ensure their prevention
 Regularly checking the integrity of security systems and detecting breaches
 Administrating hardware and software
 Managing the expenses associated with the server infrastructure
 Supervising automated processes and checking for data corruption
 Managing the office LAN and WLAN networks
 Regularly administering necessary and recommended updates to software tools and servers

Requirements:

 Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
 Knowledge of scripting languages
 Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems (especially Ubuntu)
 Experience in MySQL database administration (MongoDB administration experience as an advantage)
 Experience in configuring Apache, nginx
 Experience in administrating AWS (Amazon Web Services) or any other IaaS
 Proficiency in English
