Tech Specialist - temporary position

Computers are your hobby and you cannot imagine life without them? Perhaps you also have a soft spot for PC games since your childhood and have fond memories of your (numerous!) sleepless nights playing them in a dark room as a kid? Proceed further… ☺

We are looking for a Tech Specialist to help us remaster games, tweak drivers, modify installers, do light C++ coding, apply inventive fixes to the bugs our QA team catches and other funny stuff. You will be assisting our Lead Programmer, helping him make our games work.

Right now we are looking for an additional member of our team, that could temporarily help us in our daily duties. But don’t worry, some other exciting projects are coming up, so there’s a good chance that you will stay with us forever. Our key word is “rainbows”.

Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will be:
Creating/fixing installer scripts.
Creating tools/scripts for specific tasks.
Game fixing.
Finding workarounds for game problems.
Making sure deadlines are met.
Collecting all information required to create a build.

Qualifications:
Really good computer knowledge (power user).
Oldschool gamer.
Knowledge of one of these programming languages: C++, Delphi, C#.
Assembler and DirectX is not new stuff for you.
Attention to detail (put our keyword in the subject line of your response email).
Polish native speaker… but we also need you to speak solid English.
Good command of MS Office software.
Ability to set priorities in order to meet deadlines.
Ability to keep focused.
A friendly temperament does not hurt ☺
