QA Tester

Vile Monarch, a hard rock games studio from Warsaw, is looking for someone with good eye and even better sense of how to bungle stuff up. Currently there’s more than 20 of us, including some veterans (who worked on This War of Mine, The Witcher series, Dead Island or Hard West) and in the three years of our existence we’ve developed 4 successful, award-winning games, covering PC, Android, iOS, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Our philosophy? Let’s make fresh things - of different size, for different platforms, in different genres, but always surprising. There’s no idea that’d be TOO crazy for us. Currently we’re working on 2 bigger, unannounced titles targeted for PC, including a 3D strategy game - and that’s why we need more manpower to assure the quality that suits our ambition.
We’re looking for a person who’d be able not only to find bugs, but also give constructive feedback, debug issues and is not afraid of the “dirty work” when shit hits the fan... I mean a milestone is due.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a tester or QA analyst
• Proficiency in QA tests
• Empathy and understanding the audience
• Ability to depict issues, bugs and ideas succinctly
• Discipline and self-reliance, organized work style
• Good English, both spoken and written
• Willingness to work full-time in Warsaw
• Love for games, knowledge of various platforms and genres

Nice to have

• Year or more of experience in PC and/or mobile game testing
• Base knowledge of Unity
• Ability to eat at least twelve Lajkonik Salted Sticks in less than a minute
• Love for beer, rock music and “Adventure Time”
