The sister company of CD PROJEKT RED (responsible for the worldwide success of The Witcher, the video game series adapted from Andrzej Sapkowski's books), GOG.com is a digital distribution platform, which offers customers the greatest selection of Windows, Mac and Linux games, both classics and day-one titles, DRM-free, with lots of extra goodies and amazing customer support. We are currently looking for a passionate QA Tester who will help us expand the DRM-free world and join one of the teams taking care of our games distribution platforms:

  • GOG Galaxy, developing server side software that powers many GOG Galaxy functionalities, including: a centralized account system, matchmaking for multiplayer, backend for achievements and leaderboards, as well as game installs and updates.
  • WEB, which develops and maintains most of the web-front features available on the GOG.com platform used by millions of gamers.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing manual tests of developed features.
  • Writing and executing test cases.
  • Reporting and verifying bugs.
  • Reviewing requirements.
  • Cooperating closely with Developers and other QA Testers.
  • Making sure deadlines are being met.
  • Asking questions and evolving as a tester :)

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent Polish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail (add our keyword “Brouver Hoog” at the beginning of your CV).
  • A “Can-do” attitude and open mindset.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Being a team player.

Pluses:

  • Experience with bug-tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
  • Experience in software testing.
  • Basic knowledge of developer tools in browsers (e.g in Chrome).
