Praca stała Inne

Kickstart your adventure in the world of videogames! Have you always dreamed of working in the gaming industry, but you’re not a programmer or developer? This may be your entry ticket. Are you good with numbers? Do you have good analytical skills? Do you like to work with other people and learn something new everyday? Are you at the same time a creative person that can bring fresh ideas to the table? Do you love video games? If your answer to all of the above (or almost all) is “YES” then you should submit your application.

The sister company of CD PROJEKT RED (responsible for the worldwide success of The Witcher), GOG.com is a digital distribution platform, which offers customers the greatest selection of PC, Mac and Linux games, both classics and day-one titles, with lots of extra goodies and amazing customer support. We’re proud to have millions of members in our community and to be working with more than 400 business partners - including Bethesda, Activision, Disney, EA, Ubisoft and Square Enix among others.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the team in managing direct campaigns and sendouts in line with the guidelines. This includes preparing the templates, defining calls-to-action, managing translations, and picking the best content.
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing remarketing strategies. Not all customers are the same, so it’s key to understand and target the right campaigns at the right group, so as to strike the right chord.
  • Learning to design trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise sales.
  • A/B testing and MVT testing of campaigns in order to make the best improvements in the long-term direct marketing strategy.
  • Implementing the strategy for generating leads, as well as converting those leads into customers. One thing is to engage the existing customers, but another key aspect is to reach as many gamers as possible and then nurture them into becoming part of the GOG.com community.
  • Preparing weekly KPI tracking reports from all campaigns alongside with conclusions and plans for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong interest in online marketing/e-commerce, web conversion, web trends and basic knowledge of the tools.
  • A can-do attitude and passion to learn new things. You will be learning a lot and fast.
  • Be a passionate gamer with knowledge about the titles available on GOG.com and most importantly - GOG.com itself. Don’t be surprised when we ask you about these two areas during the interview :).
  • Be open to learning about hard data analysis (website traffic, conversions, sales data etc.).
  • Be extremely organized, have good prioritization skills and the ability to work under time pressure.
  • Be able to easily communicate in English - both written and spoken. The GOG.com team is multinational and most of the business is done in English, thus this is key.
  • Be proactive, bring new ideas and always strive to do things better. The PR, Marketing, Product and Bizdev departments work very close together and initiative is always more than welcome, even if it’s outside of your core duties.
  • Have a black belt in communication skills, as you’ll need to write a lot and be a part of different projects.
  • HTML knowledge will be a big plus.

What we offer:

  • A unique opportunity to kickstart your career in the games industry, with possibility to extend the cooperation after the internship.
  • A gamer’s paradise where you will be surrounded by games - living & breathing them!
