LEAD ENVIRONMENT ARTIST | Tate Multimedia S.A | Warsaw

Tate Multimedia S.A. is a Poland-based international independent developer and game publisher. Studio maintain close partnerships with major players in sector: Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Company is publishing games on all major platforms, and developing an exclusive titles. In the past Tate Multimedia developed license-based games for major publishers in Europe (Koch Media, Atari), but now team is focusing on developing their own brands.
Studio operates according to the “house of ideas” model on an everyday basis, which means no idea is off the table allowing developers to have the creative freedom to continually seek new, daring, and even risky projects.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Creative Director and Lead Designer
• Being responsible for achieving final look of a game according to art direction (lightning, post process, materials)
• Defining the methods of achieving game’s visual style with proper 3D graphics techniques and assets (Unity3D or Unreal)
• Communicating this methods and workflow to the team
• Overseeing the production of all 3D assets throughout the game’s development
• Work closely with engineers and designers to solve technical challenges of the art pipeline

Required Skills

• Technical Art experience
• 3+ years of working experience with game engines
• At least two shipped PC or console “AA” titles is a must
• Good understanding of 3D assets workflow
• Good 3D graphics technical knowledge
• Good understanding of Modeling, Texturing, UV Mapping, Shader & Material, and Lighting (Unity 3D or Unreal)
• Knowledge of 3d software like 3ds Max or Maya
• Knowledge of full screen based effects and special effects in general
• Be able to communicate clearly with senior managers, designers, programmers
• Problem-solving attitude
• Have a passion for games
• Be able to communicate in Polish or English
