PR Manager

We are looking for experienced and professional PR Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for coordinating all public relations activities, developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics. Ultimately a PR Manager will be developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media. This person will report directly to CEO of People Can Fly.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies

• Coordinate all public relations activities

• Manage media inquiries and interview requests

• Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations

• Managing and sharing content with users on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship and advertising on an on-going basis

• Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness

• Working closely with HR department on employer branding strategies

• Building a positive image of the employer, monitoring and analyzing the company's image

• Representing the company during external events

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional PR Manager

• Strong relationships with both local and international business and industry media outlets

• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interview

• BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline

• Exceptional writing and editing skills

• Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

• Event planning experience

• Excellent English language skills
