Balance Tester

People Can Fly is looking for a Balance Tester. This person will be responsible for focusing on gameplay balance, proactively identifying balance issues and offering solutions, maintain the quality of the game’s design and content. This will include finding and exploring current balance problems, both with mathematics and gameplay, and reporting them and proposing solutions.

Qualifications

• Ability to think outside the box in exploiting game mechanics
• Curiosity and strong will to study and understand the underlying game mechanics in order to not only discover, but foresee potential issues in different game areas
• A passion to excel in game performance, finding the best solutions
• An understanding of balance elements of game design
• Strong problem solving skills
• Self-motivated, hard worker with a team-focused attitude
• Experience playing multiplayer and/or single player games
• High work ethic and self motivated
• Passion for Games

Language

• Language: English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)

Preference to applicants with

• Experience in working with Unreal Engine is a plus
• Shipped-title is a plus
