Localization Programmer

JOB DESCRIPTION

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a skilled Localization Programmer to join our award-winning Warsaw studio. In this position you will work with our ambitious team to craft new tools and procedures capable of handling hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue. As a Localization Programmer at CD PROJEKT RED you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and highly creative environment and have a direct impact on the development of critically acclaimed AAA video games.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and development of the tools and procedures for a localization pipeline capable of handling hundreds of thousands of lines of dialogue.
• Working with the localization and audio teams along with other departments to facilitate the implementation of dialogue in the game.
• Designing and implementing new features/tools for dialogue and localization in the engine.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years of experience in any industry with the required skills, ideally that touches localization.
• Very good C# coding skills, database programming (e.g. entity framework), familiarity with Visual Studio.
• At least basic knowledge of C++, Python or other similar language.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to comprehend unfamiliar code and work across many systems in the code base.
• Ability to easily communicate in English.
• Passion for creating games.
• Great communication skills and an ability to work in a team.
