Build Engineer

Responsibilities

Automation system

• Work closely with the studio departments to fulfill the needs for the building, packaging, deployment and testing tools
• Set up and maintain DevOps practices to support all development activities
• Understand the risks and impacts of branches and code merges and provide mitigation strategies
• Help with IT architecture design
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to boost productivity Release management
• Plan and manage all release activities
• Prepare and submit all technical and release documentation
• Design, deployment, and maintenance of the build delivery system

Qualifications

• Work experience (as of Build Engineer/Release Manager) in game development
• Experience with setup, configuration, and maintenance of CI systems
• C++ experience
• C# experience
• Advanced knowledge of Perforce
• Proficiency with the distributed build systems (FASTBuild/IncrediBuild)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Open-minded team player personality
• Willingness to learn new things and share your existing knowledge
• Passionate about playing and making videogames
• Language: English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)

Preference to applicants with

• Programming background
• Proficiency with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence)
• Proficiency with artifacts repository systems
• Proficiency with test automation systems
• Experience with the Unreal Engine
