(Senior) Unreal Generalist

Platige Image is looking for a talented and all-round awesome Unreal Generalist to play a critical role in our projects using the Unreal Game Engine. This person will work closely with various cross-discipline teams to prepare and evaluate 3D engine ready assets. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and debugging scenes in UE4. We’re not looking for an old stager, but for a talented Generalist with a knack for attractive work!

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL

• Preparation and evaluation of 3D engine ready assets.
• Developing, optimizing, and debugging scenes in UE4.
• Overseeing the development of Platige Image’s UE4 projects as a TD.
• Supporting and mentoring other artists working on UE4 projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years of developing in Unreal Engine 4 with practical knowledge of optimization and rendering.
• At minimum intermediate knowledge of Maya or similar tools required.
• Experience with texture & asset optimization is required.
• Must have a good foundation on a hard surface and organic modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, shaders, and lighting.
• Deep understanding of the latest features and components.
• Advanced skills in Blueprints Visual Scripting.
• Positive and constructive attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Advanced English is essential.

ADDITIONALLY SCORED

• C++ programming experience.
• Houdini 4 skills.
