Character Artist

People Can Fly is looking for a Character Artist. This person will be responsible for creating top-quality models for use in gameplay, cinematics, and even our marketing material.

Responsibilities

• Creating high-quality characters and creatures and props suitable technically and artistically to project universe
• Working closely with Animators and Technical department to ensure the character fulfills the quality expectations
• Maintain the production and software pipeline and meeting deadlines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in developing character models and textures as onsite artist
• Created from scratch outstanding characters in AAA titles
• Strong organic modeling skills (human faces, clothing, believable creatures.)
• Strong hard-surface modeling skills (armor, weapons)
• Ability to create highpoly and lowpoly models as well as textures
• Ability to adapt to, and improve, new styles, techniques, and workflows
• Very good knowledge of major 3D software packages (Maya/Max/Modo/Blender, and ZBrush, marvelous
• Designer, Substance Painter, Photoshop)
• High work ethic and self-motivated
• Passion for Games
• Language: English and/or Polish language skills (everyone in our studio speaks English, but Polish language skills are a plus)
• Art education or traditional sculpture, drawing skills are a plus
• Skinning, rigging, animating are a plus
• Sense of body/camera motion is a plus
