Senior Unity engineer

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Unity Engineer to join our small but mighty engineering team.

Who we are?
We're Rara - a young company building a category defining product. Game creation is hard, it takes months, years and possibly a small army. We don't think it should be that way. We are in stealth and fast approaching our launch. So much to do!

At a sub-10 team size, you'll be a core part of the founding team, have a huge say in the direction of the product and not just be another cog in the wheel.

What you will do:

• Design, build and maintain core game architectures from start to finish.
• Advocate and implement good engineering practices and standards
• Implement new features on a rapid and regular basis
• Be involved in the entire creation process from brainstorming to release
• Write clean, performant, well-documented code
• Wear many hats

What we are looking for in you?

• Deep knowledge of Unity
• Native fluency in C#
• Experience building and shipping games in the past
• Experience with mobile focused development
• Deep knowledge of optimizations
• Strong backend skills
• Experience with multiplayer and networking
• Comfortable with git and version control
• Experience with procedural content generation
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Fast problem solver with ability to follow rapid release cycles
• Driven, passionate, self-starter, always suggesting ways to improve

Bonus points:

• Experience leading a team
• Knowledge of Firebase
• Experience with job/multi-threading
• Strong math and algorithmic skills
• Experience with social and monetization features
• Experience working in a remote, distributed team

We offer:

• 200 000 - 250 000 PLN (depending on experience)
