RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Helping in identifying opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions;
• Taking part in selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques;
• Helping in designing models scalable to large datasets (millions of users);
• Taking part in retrieving and preparing data from SQL databases (PostgreSQL / HP Vertica).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks;
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.);
• Coding skills, especially knowledge of Python / Java; BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Math or currently studying for such a degree;
• Self-reliance, self-motivation and problem solving skills;
• Student status.
