Legendo Games is looking for remote C++ Software Engineers with PlayStation game development backgrounds to port a custom 3D engine from PlayStation 4/5 to PC.
Expectations
- You have no problem finding your way around proprietary 3D engines and related tools and plugins. Every issue is another opportunity to dig deeper and improve existing code.
- Experience debugging across a variety of hardware configurations.
- Enthusiastic about current/next-gen consoles and eager to learn more through hands-on experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of C++. You are ready to analyze/improve performance as necessary, and also debug and fix errors recurringly.
- You are timely, structured, and self-motivated. Strong written and verbal English skills.
- Others consider you to be a person of integrity capable of keeping information and project details confidential.
Pluses
- You have worked on commercial console and PC games for which you contributed to custom engines and/or enhanced core systems in UE 4/5.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- You are proficient in trigonometry and linear algebra.
Scope
- The scheduled development cycle is 12-14 months.
