Senior Environment Artist

Hello! We are Games 4Experience, a brand new VR exclusive studio seeking outstanding talents to join our ranks. We work fully remotely, but if you feel like moving places we offer a beautiful office in a historic centre of Warsaw, Poland.

We are looking for a Senior Environment Artist who will contribute to the development of a next big VR game, utilizing a combination of core art and technical art skills.

Responsibilities:

• Create high quality organic and hard surface 3D models for a real-time VR game environment.
• Produce appealing materials and shaders.
• Collaborate with the art and design teams to layout game areas which are engaging and visually inspiring.
• Work closely with the Art Director to deliver and maintain the established art style.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions to issues related to asset creation, performance, and technical requirements.
• Help strategize and plan all environment art in collaboration with the concept and design teams.
• Proactively stay up on new software, processes and industry trends and share the knowledge with the team.

Requirements & Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in creating real-time environments.
• Experience with Unity.
• Expert understanding of Maya/Max/Blender, Substance Designer/Painter, and Z-Brush/Mudbox.
• Solid experience generating PBR materials and shaders.
• Effective communicator with art staff.
• Highly motivated and proactive, consistent productivity with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
