We’re currently looking for an Expert Data Scientist for one of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions;
• Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques;
• Designing models scalable to large datasets (millions of users);
• Retrieving and preparing data from SQL databases (PostgreSQL / HP Vertica).

Requirements:

• Experience in effectively applying machine learning to solve business problems;
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks;
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications;
• Coding skills, especially experience with Python / Java;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Math or equivalent professional experience.
