For our exciting new project from Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise we are looking for talented and experienced:

Senior AI Gameplay Programmer

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of the team that architects and implements gameplay systems for Sniper-based AI gameplay (E.g. Perception/Alert System, Navigation, Cover, Flee & Targeting mechanics)
• Work closely with designers and programmers to prototype and build network replicating, robust systems
• Drive and share best practice across the AI/Gameplay engineering team and other engineering teams
• Help solve AI gameplay engineering problems with elegant and creative solutions
• Fix bugs and issues found by testing the AI
• Prototype and iterate on features and be responsive to constructive feedback
• Setup good testing frameworks within Unreal Engine to ensure realistic memory and CPU targets are met
• Reporting to the Gameplay Lead Engineer, ensure task delays and concerns are communicated early, and requests for extensions are made as early as possible.
• Look for ways to improve the Sniper games’ AI Systems for the existing and future titles in the franchise  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Experience building AI systems in an Unreal Engine 4 PC/Console/Mobile game
• 5+ years of experience in an AI/Gameplay Engineering role
• Experience of UE Behavior Trees & Blackboard Systems
• Big plus if part of those 5+ years of experience were spent developing FPS Shooter / Tactical FPS games and Using GAS or similar Plugins
• Familiarity, experience and knowledge using Unreal Engine Blueprints and C++ within a Gameplay framework.
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Proactive, curious and humble mentality, a team player that is not afraid to ask for help when needed
• Comfortable working in a high-growth environment
• Passion for learning and sharing freely with other team members
