Composting/ Lighting Artist

Platige Image is looking for a passionate person who would like to work with a team producing content based on Unreal Engine as Compo/Lighting Artist. It’s the perfect opportunity to skill up in this engine as lighter than compose those renders in a classic way. If you have a strong sense of balance, light, and color join us!

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A NUTSHELL

• Creating high-quality digital composites and visual effects for our projects.
• Tracking (both 2D and 3D), matte extraction, layering of elements and colour grading.
• Seamless integration of live-action, miniature and CGI sources.
• Work closely with CG Supervisors to composite the numerous elements that complete a visual effects shot.
• Follow production process and develop creative approaches and problem-solving.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 2-years’ experience on a similar position.
• Nuke knowledge is a must.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadline.
• Excellent communication skills.

ADDITIONALLY SCORED

• A traditional arts background with emphasis on photo-realistic aesthetic and environments an asset.
• Experience with Maya or other 3D package.
• Basic knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Willingnes to learn about/develop skills in lighting scenes.
