Robot Gentleman, the independent games developer known for the atomic dark comedy adventures 60 Seconds! and 60 Parsecs! is on the lookout for a talented and experienced 2D Animator to join our studio REMOTELY OR ON-SITE in Poznań, Poland.

You are:

• An open-minded, creative person

• A professional artist with a passion for indie games
• A versatile and prepared to tackle many different kinds of tasks, ranging from creative challenges to mass production

You have:

• Worked as an Animator in the games industry or another creative industry for at least 3 years on marketing assets and commercial/public projects
• Taken part in at least one project from the idea stage to the publishing stage
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

Your skills include:

• Fluent English (minimum C1) - in speech and writing
• Experience in various art styles and techniques
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals and visual design
• Expertise in industry standard animation tools including ToonBoom Harmony, Adobe Animate and After Effects,
• Expertise in industry standard design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Creating 2D animations (procedural and stop motion) of game assets from concept sketches to final animations
• Working closely with the art team to reflect the artistic and gameplay vision for animations
• Navigating game clients (Unity, animation exporting tools etc) to ensure all assets are exported and implemented accordingly
• Constantly learning new tricks and tools and improving your skills

A bonus if you:

• Have knowledge and/or experience of the Unity engine
• Are familiar with indie game industry and animation styles used in video games
• Have experience working closely with technical developers

• Contract form negotiable, any contract form comes with 20+ days of paid leave of absence (exact number dependent on the contract form)
