On behalf of an unannounced game development studio, we are recruiting for the following position:

Senior/Lead Quest Designer

We’re currently working on AAA, story-driven RPG saga for PCs and next-gen consoles in Unreal
Engine 5. We are looking for a Senior/Lead Quest Designer to join our Quest Design Team in
Warsaw to bring our narrative vision for our new IP to life. As part of the team, you will be involved in
expanding the Quest Team of exceptional designers and together you will create breathtaking worlds
in our exciting AAA project.

Salary information:

• B2B - Net Salary - Senior: 15 000 - 19 500 PLN + VAT
• (UoP) - Gross Salary - Senior: 15 000 - 19 500 PLN

Responsibilities:

• Quest design and implementation on the highest world level.
• Cooperation with the tech team on creation and optimization tools.
• Cooperation with the story team and game director to create exceptional narrative experience.
• Cooperation with all departments to put the game together and polish it to masterpiece level.

Requirements:

• Passion and inner drive to create best story driven RPG’s out there.
• Sense of quality allows you to make an unforgettable game.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quest Designer in the production of AAA games.
• Knowledge of game development engines such as Unreal and quest implementation tools.
• Scripting skills in blueprint and quest editor.
• The ability to understand plot issues, including creating character motivation, issues related to the immersion of the game and appropriate quest pacing.
• Proactivity - we expect activity in every field to help us improve work on the game as well as improving the operation of the quest department and the company.
• Mentoring younger designers.
• Excellent knowledge of the game market, and especially all RPG games and the plot solutions used in them.
• A passion for games, movies and literature.
• Excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership.
• Fluent English.
• Good self-motivation and self-management skills.
• For leading position: Strong leadership, team, and people management skills.
