Ironbird Creations is a new studio based in Cracow. We currently have 20+ people on board, and we are looking for talented individuals who would like to join us on our journey to create fast-paced, engaging, combat-focused games.

As VFX Artist, you'll be working on creating stunning visual effects in close cooperation with our Art Director and Art Team. Our game is full of VFXes - you’ll have a lot of creative freedom and things to play with.

Software/Tools we use in IBC: Unity, Blender/Maya, Plastic (version control systems), Houdini, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Jira, Confluence, Discord.

You probably wonder about your tasks:

• Render VFX effects (particle effects and systems) within game environments and in gameplay
• Render optimal shaders that work on both PC and consoles
• Work together with the Art Director in order to implement artistic ideas using Unity’s 3D engine

Our requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience. Including knowledge of special effects like: Blood Combat Effects, Smoke, Fire, Water, Light, Post processing.
• Know your way around in Unity (Unity Particle System and Shader Graph)
• English at the communicative level
• Being an open and positive team player who knows how to give and take feedback.

Bonus points? Sure:

• Scripting / Coding experience is always a plus.
• One or more of the projects you worked on were combat focused? Great!
• You worked previously in jira/confluence - it will be easy for you to get on board with us.
