Illustrator - Game Art

As a Illustrator of the art team, you will be responsible for providing high quality illustrated work for production in a variety of art styles, supervising partners on using our assets and also help in establishing art styles, processes and pipelines in a constantly evolving environment.

As an Illustrator, you will work closely with our Art Director on multiple projects to not only deliver top quality Illustration work. You will be given all necessary tools and support to achieve it.

Applicants should submit a resume and current portfolio of work. Qualified applicants may be expected to complete a small art test.

In this position, you will:

• Create high quality illustrated work for production such as 1) custom Keyart sketches, concepts and final illustrations for new and existing beffio project in collaboration with game teams creative supervisors and artists, 2) various high res assets for games marketing (e.g. characters, props and 3) backgrounds, icons, marketing illustrations etc.
• Briefs, supervises and consults internal and external partners in matters regarding art and use of assets
• Help to establish art styles, processes and pipelines for multiple parts of a campaign
• Curating and cataloging of asset library

Who we think will do great in this role:

• 3+ years of working experience (ideally in Games Industry)
• Up to date portfolio demonstrating expert knowledge of composition, lighting, color theory, posing, and perspective with a focus on polished execution
• Experienced in art direction, conceptualizing and sketching
• Ability to solve problems by taking initiative and remaining flexible
• Organization skills to work with tight deadlines while also paying attention to the details
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively, and to communicate well with others, also in a remote working environment, including soliciting & receiving feedback
• Proficiency in Photoshop
• Fluent in both spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Knowledge in 3D
• Knowledge in Character design
• Knowledge in graphic design
• Experience with real-time/emerging technologies Concepting in Unreal Engine.
• Being able to closely adapt to a specific art style.
• Ability to understand and articulate the elements of a good photograph to achieve quality CGI images.
• A keen eye for composition, shape, color, and detail.
• An understanding of next-gen asset creation.
