We are The Iron Lung, passionate developers and gamers at heart, working on an ambitious AA+ project which combines multiple genres such as Soulslike and Shooter.

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated 3D Animator, who will help us bring our game to life on multiple platforms; PC and console.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with all creative departments; designers, programmers and artists,
  • Create and implement high quality animations for all the player (and enemy) actions,
  • Understanding of animation pipeline and the processes involved from the conceptual phase to implementation.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an animator in game dev or related industries,
  • Understand all the core animation principles (physical motion, weight, balance, texture, form),
  • Experience working with Unreal,
  • Communicative English.

Nice to have:

  • Good understanding of how animations influence gameplay (and vice versa) in the context of the soulslike formula,
  • Passionate about playing video games and most importantly, making them,
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence,
  • Familiarity with version control software; Perforce.
