UI/UX Designer

We are The Iron Lung, passionate developers and gamers at heart, working on an ambitious AA+ project which combines multiple genres such as Soulslike and Shooter.

We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated UI/UX Designer who will help us bring our game to life on multiple platforms; PC and console.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with all creative departments; designers, programmers and artists.
• Develop intuitive control schemes and user experience flowcharts for multiple platforms based on the feedback provided by the design team.
• Presenting varied solutions to the design team, outlining all the effects on the player psychology and coming up with most optimal UI.
• Creating high quality UI assets and implementing them onto the engine.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in professional UI/UX Design with 1 shipped title.
• Basic proficiency with Unreal Engine 4.
• Experience with UI/UX Design tools (Photoshop, Figma etc.).
• Strong critical and logical thinking skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Unreal Engine UI implementation (UMG).
• Passionate about playing video games and most importantly, making them,
• Familiarity with the Soulslike (and shooter) genre.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with version control software; Perforce.
