Japan Based Producer

Techland is looking for a talented, creative, and self-reliant Producer who will be responsible for the production and delivery of existing and in development Techland Intellectual Property projects in collaboration with Japanese companies and talent.

This person will ensure alignment with the overall company’s vision and deliver unforgettable experiences in many different media formats (comics, tv/movies, animation etc.)

Your daily tasks:

• translation and adaptation from Japanese to English of all communication between Techland and Japan based vendors and talent
• owning and communicating long term strategies for the project’s delivery
• oversee project schedules and task backlogs
• identifying bottlenecks that could prevent the team from achieving goals
• providing progress updates to C-level and Directors
• ensuring the flow of information within and between teams
• asset review and feedback

You meet our expectations if you have:

• proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time,
• ability to balance forecasting, strategy, planning, and execution,
• problem solving mindset,
• native command of English and Japanese,
• passion for video games and general pop culture,
• at least 2 years of experience as a Producer, Project Manager in the entertainment industry,
• portfolio of your work - must have,
• manga and anime industry experience a big plus.
