For our brave tribe MATABOO we are looking for an experienced (Elder) Code Sorceress or Sorcerer to support our team in the unique adventures we are taking part in and those ahead of us.

We are a young developers' studio established by industry veterans and powered by very experienced and perfectly harmonized individuals. Our team has worked or works on such console and PC projects as: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gotham Knights, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, Chernobylite, Green Hell, The Medium, Blair Witch, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil 4 and 6, Mortal Kombat X, Injustice 2, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Dark Souls: Remastered and Bee Simulator.

MATABOO helps game creators at every stage of development from design through content creation, gameplay, programming, bug fixing to implementation, porting, and optimization. Whatever game platform you choose - we are here to assist you.

We are a Polish company based in Warsaw, hidden in the silence and greenery of Fort Mokotow.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior/Regular C++ Programmer to port and co-develop video games with our clients.

What will you work on?

• Platforms: Console, PC.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Work on transferring games between different platforms,
• Creation of new and extension of existing gameplay functionalities,
• Optimizing game performance,
• Expansion of the existing game engine with new functions,
• Creating documentation of the work performed.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• A least 2 years of experience as C++ programmer (for the position Code Sorceress/Sorcerer),
• A least 4 years of experience as C++ programmer (for the position Elder Code Sorceress/Sorcerer),
• Very good knowledge of C++, x86 / x64 platforms and the principles of object-oriented programming,
• Programming or IT education,
• Good command of the English language.

Additional advantages will be:

• Knowledge of DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan or Metal,
• Knowledge of Unreal 4 or Unity 3D game engines,
• Experience in the field of multiplayer and network code issues,
• Development experience with consoles (Playstation 3/4/5, Xbox 360/One/Series X/S, Switch or earlier) and OSX,
• Experience in creating games, emulators or demoscene productions,
• Experience in multithreaded programming, tool development, debugging, profiling and code optimization.

What are the conditions and bonuses?

• Salary depending on experience 8 000 - 18 000 net + VAT (B2B contract) - for the position Code Sorceress/Sorcerer,
• Salary depending on experience 18 000 - 24 000 net + VAT (B2B contract) - for the position Elder Code Sorceress/Sorcerer,
• Both B2B and employment contract are possible,
• Flexible working time,
