Technical Artist
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- working closely with artists, programmers, VFX,
- researching, developing and maintaining different art pipelines (mainly material related),
- optimizing currently existing pipelines using the latest technology features,
- upholding the most optimized and coherent usage of textures and materials among artists,
- creating materials (using UE5 material nodes), profiling on artists and designers requests,
- investigating, identifying and troubleshooting problems on the graphical side of the game (GPU profiling, to see how heavy selected materials are, how heavy the meshes are, etc.),
- documenting technical limitations.
Feel free to apply if you have:
- previous experience working in Unreal Engine 4/5,
- previous experience in creating shaders (in HLSL),
- experience in profiling and possessing the ability to detect the limitations on performance,
- excellent communication skills as you will be working with a bunch of artists and other departments,
- strong problem-solving skills.
