About Us:
Purple Ray Studio is an independent game development studio composed of a team of several experienced developers. Following the release of our first game, Boti Byteland Overclocked, we are now working on a new, stylized project with a darker theme.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Level Designer to join our team and help create immersive and engaging levels for our new project.

What you’ll do:

• Create and refine level layouts, gameplay flow, and pacing
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate gameplay elements and narrative into levels
• Ensure levels meet the highest standards of quality, playability, and fun
• Work with artists and programmers to bring levels to life

Ideally, you’ll have:

• 3+ experience in gamedev field and at least 1 commercially shipped title
• A portfolio showcasing level design examples and game titles
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine
• Strong understanding of level design principles and techniques
• Proficiency in English language

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of level art principles like prop and set dressing.
• Experience with TPP games
• Knowledge of sequencer tool in UE
• Experience in working with custom cameras
